Every Day Heroes

One of the things I love most about meditation, yoga, transcendental experiences of all kind is that moment, so fleeting, of feeling fiercely connected to the world. It doesn't last, but that's okay. I remember.

The Internet does that for me, too...it's been doing that since I sent my first e-mail in 1981.  Older than some bloggers!  It's given me the chance to bear witness to all kinds of things, and all kinds of people, who fill me with awe.  I may or may not meet you in the flesh, but I feel linked to you. And I feel blessed.  Ellen is one of those blessings.  She is planning to go down to the area hit by Katrina.   Listen in.  Feel connected.
