Foxy and Randy's story in the New York Times...

If you go behind the wall of Times Select, or, alternately, Google Randy Vargas and Foxy, you are likely to find this story..the link I had originally has vanished.

Thanks, Peter Applebome, for taking the time, and writing so beautifully.

April 8th update: I have seen Randy several times since Foxy left us, and Randy's been very up and down.  Somebody dumped his cart full of stuff, including Foxy's snow boots  (which Jeff and I gave Foxy).  Imagine one day if you came home, and nearly everything that reminded you of your dog had vanished.

On the other hand,  many people have been trying to help Randy, and he's aware of it, and grateful.  This Easter morning, Faith and I saw him on our block, and Faith barked in a bratty way.  Randy said, "No, no, no...it's a happy bark. God bless you!"

    Back at you, Randy.
